From 13th December, I’ll be pausing all dispatches to Europe due to the new General Product Safety Regulations (GSPR). These regulations have introduced unclear rules that affect small businesses like Organising Chaos. Until there’s better guidance on how to comply, I’ve decided to take this precautionary step to ensure everything remains above board and in line with legal requirements.
This hasn’t been an easy decision, but it’s a necessary one. The last thing I want is to risk issues for you, my lovely customers, or for my business during this period of regulatory uncertainty. By pausing dispatches, I can focus on finding the clarity I need to safely resume shipping to Europe.
For My European Customers
First of all, thank you for being part of this journey. Your support means everything, and I’m so grateful to have you in this community. If you’re based in Europe and have your eye on any goodies, whether it’s a festive treat or a gift for a fellow diabuddy, please place your order before 4th December. What’s Next?
I’m hoping this pause is only temporary. I’ll be closely following updates on the GSPR and working to understand how it applies to small businesses like mine. As soon as I have the green light to resume European dispatches, I’ll shout it from the rooftops (or at least, my social media and email updates!).
In the meantime, I’ll still be here, creating and shipping orders within the UK and other countries around the globe, and working on exciting new products and ideas for 2024.
